"Santiago Sunrise"

Every once in a while you get the chance to create something that is very special.  I had this opportunity recently when a client of mine commissioned a painting from me to recreate a special memory for him to give to his wife. "Santiago Sunrise" captures moments shared having coffee in the cold, crisp mornings from the Las Pipas ranch house on the 02 Ranch south of Alpine, Texas. The reflection of Santiago Mountain emerging from the cistern as the sun peeks through orange skies.
It's times like these for me as well that give my journey as an artist such fulfillment. I am honored to be able to recreate this beautiful memory for such special friends.
